Brown Series
Ever wonder what some of those brown signs really mean? We don't sell these but do get requests to confirm their meaning. This series is officially known as recreational and cultural interest area signs. Recreational and cultural interest area signs may be used on any road to direct persons to facilities, structures, and places, and to identify various services available to the general public. These signs may also be used in areas for signing non vehicular events and amenities such as trails, structures, and facilities. We'd like to thank FHWA for providing this. Signs shown below are not in specific order.
