Shipping Policy
USA Traffic Signs usually ships your order by UPS ground. Some orders may ship FedEx or by Con-Way motor freight for heavy and some oversized items. To determine your shipping cost, just add products to the cart and it will take you to a screen which will give you shipping cost prior to checkout. Note, most carriers have increased their shipping rates this year due to high fuel costs. We do not offer faster shipment methods but most orders for stock items ship the same or next business day to insure speedy delivery. UPS ground normally requires ( 2-5 ) work days after we ship to deliver your package. After your order ships, we'll send tracking information via email and you may check order status by clicking "MY ACCOUNT" button located on the top of the page for tracking information. Over 90% of our online orders ship the same or next business day. Certain items like custom signs need additional time and we list the approximate production time required before shipping within "Availability" for each product sold.
Some oversized items and heavy orders will ship via Con-Way motor freight, it's cheaper then UPS. These rates are based on total weight, size, and location of delivery. To determine your shipping cost, just add products to the cart and it will take you to a screen which will give you shipping cost prior to checkout. Someone must sign for delivery. Before you sign, check the carrier's paperwork for number of packages being delivered and weights involved. Confirm that the correct number of packages are being delivered as specified on his paperwork. If there are any discrepancies, you must note this on their paperwork before signing. Check packages for any signs of damage and also note this prior to signing off. Following these simple rules will insure speedy replacement of any missing or damaged items.
Remember, by ordering online, we're able to update the system and email you ship dates and tracking numbers automatically. Online orders take priority over phone orders and ship quicker, some orders ship as soon as 1 hour after placed which is why we prefer online orders.
